DELTA HOTELS BRAND TRANSFORMATION
The Challenge
Delta Hotels was a well-known but aging mid-tier hotel chain facing declining brand affinity and a growing perception gap in a competitive hospitality market. The brand needed more than a refresh - it needed a full repositioning as a premium 4-star hospitality brand, with a cohesive identity that could scale across properties, digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and physical guest touch points, while aligning creative, product, and operations teams around a single design system.
The Solution
As an Associate Creative Director, I led the creation of premium visual identity spanning logo refresh, typography, colour palette, photography direction, and signage systems - building a comprehensive design system applied consistently across every channel.
Digital - website, booking engine, and mobile app
Marketing - campaigns, social, email, and loyalty communications
Physical - in-hotel signage, collateral, and guest touch points
Multi-channel launch spanning OOH, social, digital, and in-hotel experiential activations
Data-driven creative evaluation to refine messaging and design for maximum impact
Cross-functional partnership with product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the brand experience matched the customer journey at every touchpoint
The Experience
The transformation delivered results at every level. The campaign reached over 100 million impressions, drove a 60% lift in brand affinity within the premium hospitality segment, and a 25% lift in booking conversions through CRO improvements on the redesigned site. Customer engagement, bookings, and loyalty program adoption all increased. The rebrand contributed directly to Delta Hotels' multi-million dollar acquisition by Marriott International, and was recognized for design excellence in industry awards and client leadership reviews.
